Dion leads Gravita’s tax investigations and dispute resolution service.

Dion advises on all aspects of private client taxation and especially on residence and domicile. He is particularly focused on internationally mobile individuals and advises on pre-arrival planning through to exit planning together with related offshore structures.

Dion is especially noted for his tax investigation and dispute resolution practice. He represents clients in all aspects of taxpayers interaction with HMRC and manages the relationship so that you don’t have to.

Dion’s calming and approachable manner takes the stress out of HMRC’s investigations from local enquiries, counter-avoidance and Fraud Investigation Service investigations right through to the Tax Tribunal. He is very effective at Alternative Dispute Resolution (mediation) and finding an amicable agreement between HMRC and the taxpayer.

Outside of tax, Dion is a Justice of the Peace and regularly sits in the Magistrate’s, Youth and Crown courts.
